When first attempting to build a storage box for garages, mostly metal and plywood was used. (Abb. Fischerleitner). However, this box was too heavy and it was consequently dismissed.
In a second attempt, the storage box was mainly made of plastic with its frame and mounts of sheet metal. This was based on the design of Mag. Christoph Weiermayer. As it did not meet the necessary fire protection requirements, this box was also not suitable for the market.
The third attempt: The depox design of sheet metal was put into effect. The stages of development can be best explained with the help of the below pictures:
